Dr. Danika is originally from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada where she graduated with honors from St. Mary's High School in 2009. She continued her education at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, SK where she studied human biology. During this time she realized her dream of becoming a chiropractor would move her far from home. She went on to pursue this dream at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Luckily, she met her now husband (Dr. Alex) while attending chiropractic school and soon the United States felt like home. They are excited to be a part of the ChiroSport team and look forward to operating the Dell Rapids location!
Dr. Danika is a nationally board certified chiropractor. She is currently working on completely her post graduate training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) which specializes in pediatric and maternal care. Her resume includes graduating with her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Danika is a proud member of the American Chiropractic Association, South Dakota Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Dell Rapids Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Danika offers a variety of techniques which allows her to tailor her care specific to each patients needs. She is also certified in the Webster Technique, which is a safe and gentle chiropractic analysis and adjustment used to restore proper pelvic alignment and function to assure baby can assume the best possible position for birth.
In her free time, Dr. Danika enjoys spending time with her husband. You will likely find the two of them in the gym or the outdoors, hiking and biking. They have a passion for health and fitness and encourage everyone to live an active lifestyle.
