Dr. Martens grew up in the small rural town of Colton, SD where he attended Tri-Valley High School. He was a multi-sport athlete and went on to attend the University of Sioux Falls where he also played football. He graduated from USF in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology.

Dr. Martens is currently a member of the American chiropractic Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association. On top of his Chiropractic profession, Dr. Martens is also an assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Sioux Falls.

Dr. Martens is happily married to his wife, Jessica and they have a son, Lawson. They currently reside in the town of Hartford, SD.

His hobbies and interests include spending time with his family, exercising, and supporting his favorite sport teams: Nebraska Cornhuskers, Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Dr. Martens is excited to be the newest addition to the ChiroSport family. He was once a patient for this clinic and has seen firsthand what the power of chiropractic can do. He wants to help his patients as best as he can and looks forward to working with the Hartford community.
